It is a privilege
To be part of this village
Paving the pathways
Breaking the patterns
Sowing the seeds
Eye contact, warmth of heart
Neurons ready for take off
Strange how for some
It takes science to prove
That love builds brains

Thanks so much, Grace.
I love the pictures.. always refreshing to have an art prompt. If just more would understand that brains and love are connected.
Yes, it could literally change the world.
Hi Mish…Love the prompt and this is a great beginning. Love how privilege and village work together here.
Thank you, Paul. I’m glad you enjoyed the prompt. 🙂
Wonderful finish to excellent little poem on the painting
Thank you! 🙂
Thank you again Michelle for featuring my Art. I love all the Poems.
Your poem above is beautiful, and has a connection to how I was feeling while painting it.
New life is so precious. Love and nurture that perfect little being. I felt this way, as my first Grandson “Jack” had been born.
Ally
Ally, Thank YOU! It has truly been a pleasure to share your work!
I was very drawn to this one because I work with infants and toddlers and very aware of that critical window of time for nurturing and development. They truly are precious and we hold so much of their future in our hands.
They say that love is the common denominator that can provide succor & solutions for most problems. I tend to agree, Art or image prompt do send us off into divers strata; so cool.
Yes to all of the above! 🙂
I agree: love builds brains.
It literally does. Thanks for reading, Frank.
Being a part of the total experience seems such a wonderful part of the picture as a whole,
