Navigating our senses
Oozing sweet silence
Promising peace
Quilted in the clouds
Right in front of our eyes
Soaring vicariously
Timeless and true
Unanchored by guilt
Visions of heaven
Weightless and empty
Xcept for our hearts
Yes, our hearts
Zigzagging in the wind.
We reach towards the sun
To feel the warmth
Nurturing our souls
Soothing our minds
Millions of miles away
When only millimeters from our hands
Placed on our chest
We can feel the life, the blood
The beating of our own sun
A gift more precious than we can comprehend
For hearts so pure and strong
Are victims to minds so tangled
Hearts so fearless and free
Become chained by selfishness
We reach towards the sun
To find simplicity
