Weekly Photo Challenge: Room

Posted on

Dead Horse Point, Utah

Bring your worries here

Misery dies in deep canyons

Dissipating like dust

Into panoramic perspective

You are but a speck

Compared to this masterpiece

That stretches your mind

To the clouds

Your arms to the sky

Your heart to forever

Until all you feel is the wind

There is room here

  3. Such a touching poem. We’re always just another person, an insignificant person, in the midst of things in life and a lot of the time we don’t realise it. And when we don’t, we usually get caught up too much in selfishly thinking about ourselves. You must have felt very small standing up there on the canyons. Great shot, well done πŸ™‚

    • Hi Mabel. I think you’re right…it is so easy to think that our little world of troubles is so big, until you look at the big picture. We have so many to grow and change. I love being near any canyons but Dead Horse Point was overwhelming.
Thanks for stopping in. I enjoyed reading your last post. I will have to check out more πŸ™‚

      • Overwhelming. First time I’ve heard anyone say that about a room. But you’re so right. We feel so stressed with work in a small office room, standing in line at a fast food place and so on, and usually make a fuss over it. But when we face a room so spacious and beautiful as the one you’ve shown, I think we put life into perspective.

Thanks for your kind words πŸ™‚

  4. So beautiful. Definetly room to breathe, to be πŸ™‚

  5. What a wonderful post. Thank you.
