poetry is a place of healing…of exploration of those feelings in a ‘safe’ enviroment…and a place of connection as well…where we can relate to others feelings as well…

Indeed, poetry can be the place where mending begins, keeping it tucked, locked away until we can take stock of where our emotions take us. I loved how your poem showed the evolution from journaling with ink and paper to now, as we share our thoughts almost instantly via the internet.

Thank you Oliana! When I look back I have always had the urge to write, but I have never had the creative flow that I am experiencing now. The more lessons we learn in life, the more joy, heartaches, realizations, etc., the more we have to write about.
